He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn M. (Peterson); and his brother James B. Cowles III. He is survived by: his children, Steven Cowles (Nancy Cusson) of Glastonbury and Lynn Hayes (Kevin) of Mahopac, NY; his sisters, Elizabeth Laneri of St. Petersburg, FL and Beverly Petersen of Redding, CA; his grandsons, Paul Piacentini of Oceanside, CA, Kevin Piacentini of Glastonbury and Nick Hayes of Mahopac, NY.; and his friend Pete.
