He was predeceased by : his sister Carol Petersen (Stepnowski); and his parents, Charles Stepnowski and Ruth Stepnowski (Plummer). He is survived by : his wife Roseann (Bertagna); his children, Marie (Mark Sebastyn), Amy Stepnowski (Jeff Dominick) and Michael (Roxanne Stepnowski); his grandchildren, Conner, Haley, Charlie Sebastyn, Jeffrey Jr., Kara, Lance Dominick, Ashleigh, Kelly, Lindsay and Julia Stepnowski; his siblings, Mary Kilray and Thomas; his sister-in-law Martha Stepnowski; his sister Ruth; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Freeman, Louis and Sue Bertagna.
