She is survived by: her parents, Vincent Girard and Susan Girard of Southern Pines; her siblings, Elizabeth Girard (John Ferkany) of Aberdeen and Gregory Girard (Heather); and her nieces and nephews, Jackson and Ellie of Pinehurst.

“To the Girard families, My deepest heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your beloved Daughter, Sister, & Aunt. I just learned of her passing. She was my Supervisor years ago while I was employed at CVH. Cat was a wonderful woman, so intelligent, warm & vivacious. Always a smile on her face, asking how everyone was doing & very appreciative of her staff. She was an excellent nurse & well liked by her patients. Cat will be missed by many & will always be in our hearts. ❤️ Irene LeClair”
