She was predeceased by: her husband Henry "Hank" Kardys; her parents, Jan Olender and Agata Olender (Grudzinski); and her siblings, Frank Olender, Sophie Spin and Emilia Olender.
She is survived by: her son Jeffrey Kardys; her grandchildren, William, Jonathyn and Amanda; her great grandchildren, Jack, Eliza, Isabella, Ava, Rocco, Jakoby and Nico; and her sister-in-law Helen Loria. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and wonderful neighbors.
