He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Wagner and Margaret Wagner (Abendroth); his son Michael Alan Wagner; and his brother Denis Jerome Wagner. He is survived by: his wife Jean Wagner (Grady); his daughters, Barbara Bashaw (Douglas Elkins) and Peggy Wagner of East Lyme; his brothers, Merl Wagner (Shirley) and Brian Wagner (Rose); and his grandchildren, Joshua Chaffee (Sarah), Aaron Chaffee, Gabrielle Bashaw and Liam Elkins.
