Kevin D. Shaw Obituary

Kevin David Shaw, 36, of Gaylordsville passed away unexpectedly September 16, 2022. He was the son of Rebecca Shaw & Kevin Randall. The father of Jaylee Ziegler, 16, of Warren, CT and Landon Shaw, 11, of New Milford. He was the brother to Kenneth Shaw (Anita girlfriend) and uncle to KJ of Bridgeport, CT. "He was my brother, and I loved him. Goodbye my sweet boy"- Kenny and a sister Samantha Malarchick of Lake Elsinore, Ca. Kevin also leaves behind his beloved dog Lexie.

Kevin was predeceased by several aunts, uncles his maternal grandparents Edwin & Lois Shaw, and his paternal grandparents Jeremiah & Julia Randall. Kevin leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.

Kevin enjoyed playing his guitar singing any chance he could get, at functions, sitting at home or sitting outside enjoying time with his friends & family. He enjoyed helping people, making them laugh, or whatever the situation may have been. "He would give you the shirt right off his back if you needed It that's just what kind of guy he was"- a friend says.

Kevin often enjoyed nature he loved animals. Mary the pig and his adopted dog Lexie whom he rescued from the animal shelter. Kevin also enjoyed time and helping his beloved grandmother Lois Shaw who adored him. She unfortunately passed just seven days prior. He enjoyed time with his son Landon teaching him how to be goofy just like he was. He absolutely cherished him to no end. "I lost my best friend" when Landon found out of the passing of his father. "Mom probably needed him, so she took him with her"- Uncle Seth.

Kevin's wake will be Friday September 23, from 6-8pm at Lillis Funeral Home. He will be cremated with a graveside to be announced at a later time. Kevin will be buried with his beloved grandmother Lois Shaw.
