He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin C. Sr. Shaw and Lois M Shaw (Yeomans); and his siblings, Robert, Heidi and Anita.
He is survived by: his sons, Chris Mulholland, Joshua Shaw (Megan) and Jeremy Shaw (Nicole); his grandchildren, Karsyn, Roger, Charlotte and Nathaniel Shaw; his siblings, David Shaw, Michael Shaw, Seth Shaw, Randy Ellis, Mary Shaw, Luana Fry, Carol Shaw, Rebecca Shaw, Jennifer Becker and Terry Ellis; and also Sonny. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In recognition for all of his contributions to youth sports, he was inducted into the Connecticut Babe Ruth Hall of Fame in 2015.
