He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Phyllis Burdick of Mystic, Alfred Perkins of Groton and Carlton Smith Sr. of Norwich. He is survived by: his parents, Carlton M. Smith, Jr. and Lisa Bailey (Perkins); his stepparents, Michael Bailey of Gales Ferry and Trudy Flanery of Ledyard; his brothers, Cory Bailey of Gales Ferry and Carter Smith of Ledyard; his grandparents, Dolores Smith of Norwich, James and Mary Bailey of Noank; and his uncle Robert Smith of Waterboro, ME. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
