Jeffrey B. Post Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey B. Post of Gales Ferry, Connecticut, born in New London, Connecticut, who passed away on August 2, 2023, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his spouse Chrissy Post (Gilliland); his children, Olivia and John; his parents, Steven and Cynthia; his brothers, Scott (Christy) and Daniel (Lauren); his parents-in-law, Michael and Renate Gilliland; and his siblings-in-law, Mickey and Glenna Gilliland. He is also survived by his eight nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be honored to have donations to establish a memorial scholarship in memory of Jeffrey and a college fund for his children. Donations can be sent directly to the Submarine Base Fire Department Local F-219, P.O. Box 5003 Groton, CT. 06349-5003.
