He was predeceased by: his parent John Savage; and his sister Harriet Savage Wright. He is survived by: his parent Lena Savage (Millette); his wife Patricia Savage (Ramstedt); his son James E. Savage Jr.; his wife Marchelle of Norwich; his daughter Mary F. Savage of Westerly, RI; his grandchildren, Robert Burns and Emersyn Savage; and his great grandchildren, Makayla Lyn and Mackenzie Rose Burns.
