Ulderic E. Messier Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ulderic E. Messier of Farmington, Connecticut, who passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulderic E. Messier, Sr. and Yvonne Messier (Belanger). He is survived by: his wife Christine Messier (Guerrette); his children, Gerard Messier (Nancie), Gerianne, Monique, Claire Messier and Maggie Rodriguez (Juan); his grandchildren, Susan Fernandes of Portugal, Johnathan Messier (Tara), Kyle Messier (Katie), Jason Messier (Jennifer), Chelsea Messier and Maia Lake Rodriguez; and his siblings, Roger Messier, Rita Laurence, Doris Sagamang, Rosalie Costa and Suzanne Ciulo. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newington Memorial (20 Bonair Ave, Newington, CT 06111). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Newington Memorial Funeral Home (20 Bonair Ave, Newington, CT 06111). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Church of the Holy Spirit (183 Church St, Newington, CT 06111). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery (1 Cottage Grove Rd, Bloomfield, CT 06002).
