She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanislaw Chelchowski and Felicja Niecin Chelchowski; her husband Konrad Szmajter (Somerset); and her siblings, Janek, Boleslaw, Zygmund Chelchowski, Zdzislaw, Stasiu Chelchowski, Skarbacz and Czeslawa Chelchowska.
She is survived by: her brother Bronek Chelchowski of Branford; her daughter Barbara Lipinski; her son-in-law Paul Lipinski of Farmington Connecticut; and her grandchildren, Adam, Timothy and Kristin Lipinski. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces and grand-nephews and nieces.
