She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Carmichael Monks and Stiles Dennison Woodruff. She is survived by: her children, Peter Wheeler (Mary Jane) of Clinton, CT, Wendy Carmichael Wheeler (Shawn Reilly) of Stony Creek, CT, Sarah Wheeler-Monyette (Mark) of Suwanee, GA and Amy Wheeler Palella (Charles); her grandchildren, Jonathan, Erin, Alain, Charles, Andrew, Sean, Lisette, Russell, Sarah and Seth; her great grandchildren, Jackson and Cooper; her brother Stiles Dennison Woodruff; and also John Ormsby Monks.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Pine Orchard Union Chapel or First Congregational Church of Branford.
