He is survived by: his wife Frances Dorbuck (Gombotz); his children, Douglas (Paula Dorbuck), Gregory (Janet Pixton), Philip (Mary Ann Pixton) and Carrie (Vincent Rossitto); and his sister Alyce Abbate. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Pl.
