He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley John and Eleanor Black (Bailey); and his stepson Mark J. LeMay. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Black (Warkoski); his stepdaughter Cheryl Link (John); and his grandchildren, Jessica C. Link and Kelly M. Link-Krasij (Jeremy).
