He is survived by: his wife Anita; his daughters, Suzette, Sarah and Jenna; his son-in-law Louis De Gruy; his son Francisco J. Gomes; his daughter-in-law Flora Murphy; his grandchildren, Mica and Elon; and his sisters, Teresa Mira and Isaura Santos. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
