Edwin C. DeGroat Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edwin C. DeGroat of Farmington, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 14, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin W. DeGroat and Elizabeth DeGroat (Blaschke); his son David; and his grandson Fynn DeGroat. He is survived by: his wife Jean Guthrie; his daughter Lisa; his son-in-law Eric Sandstrom; his grandsons, Benjamin and Connor Sandstrom; his daughter-in-law Prisca DeGroat; his grandsons, Bela and Jasper DeGroat; his stepson Brian; his stepdaughter-in-law Tara Guthrie; his grandchildren, Eleanor and Julian Guthrie; his stepdaughter Kathryn Guthrie; his cousin Nancy Anderson; and also, Leslie Anderson and Chrissy Romeo.
