He is survived by: his wife Boguslawa "Barbara" Buczek; his daughter Nadia Buczek; his siblings, Piotr Buczek (Ela), Adam Buczek (Agata), Janusz Buczek, Jacek Buczek (Ela) and Magda Mazur (Miroslaw); and his aunts, Zofia Supinska (Stanislaw) and Jola Wachtar (Daniel). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
