She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Baldwin Brett and Richard Marion Brett; her husband Burges Smith; her son Richard Burges Smith; her sister Betsy Carpenter; and her brother-in-law Alan.
She is survived by: her children, Missy Smith, Alden Smith (Tim Lyman), Toby Brown, Sandy Brown (Lucy Cornwell), Marcie Smith Correa (John Correa), Francie Brown Holmes (Tim Smith) and Mariana Schwartz; her grandchildren-in-law, Jenn Mozie, Sara, Kai Andersen, Libby Nosenzo, Jesse, Chrissy Brown, Mac Brown, Kate Treitman, Laney Correa, Nora Holmes, Christen Smith, Joe Smith, Ana Clare Smith, Ned Tannenbaum, Eva and Stella Smith; and her great grandchildren, Maddie, Ryker Mozie, Max, Emma, Islay, Finn Andersen, Ellison, McClendon Nosenzo, Hadley, Marin Brown, Huck, Wes Brown, Maia Smith, Jordan Cincotta, Honesty, Jubilance Cincotta, Gage Smith and Maisy Smith. She is also survived by Nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at 999 Farmington Ave, Farmington, CT 06032.
