He was predeceased by: his son Gregg Ronald Schelmetic of Fairfield; and his parents, Andrew Schelmetic and Elizabeth Schelmetic (Farkas) of Fairfield. He is survived by: his wife Anita Schelmetic (Klein) of Fairfield; his daughters, Tracey Schelmetic (Mychael Scribner) and Brianna Scribner of Danbury; his daughter-in-law Anne Schelmetic (Wyckoff) of Southbury; his granddaughters, Brittany Schelmetic of Southbury and Cassandra Grey (Schelmetic); his grandson-in-law Mark Grey; his great grandchild Valeska of Redding; and his sister Barbara Pascal (Schelmetic) of Santa Rosa, California. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
