He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gunter and Jean Harvey Gunter; his son William C. Gunter; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Ann Kamph and Marie C. Sullivan.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Kamph; his children, Shannon Goodchild (Bill), Gregory (Janet) and Pamella Korchinski (Mike); his grandchildren, Willam Carl Gunter Jr. (McAndrew), Michael, William, Kathleen Goodchild, Grady, Kyle, Caroline Gunter, Micaela, Kevin, Sean and Maeve Korchinski; his brother William G. Gunter (Barbara); and his brother-in-law Ronald T. Sullivan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
