He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Devaney and Katie Devaney; his wife Terry; his daughter Rosemary; his brother John; and his sister-in-law Lolly.
He is survived by: his niece Mary Devine (Paul Devine); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Donal, Emma and Daire; and his nephew Michael Devaney.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Spear Miller Funeral Home (39 S Benson Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Church (545 Stratfield Rd, Fairfield, CT 06825). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the St. Thomas Cemetery.
