She was predeceased by: her husband Alvaro Lopes; her parents, Emidio Albuquerque Pinto and Laura DeJesus Pinto; her siblings, Alfredo Pinto, Antonio Albuquerque, Micas Santos, Olivia Lagos, Laura Pinto Albuquerque and Nazare Pinto; and her nephews, Alfredo Albuquerque Sr., Antonio Albuquerque, Marco Ventura and Jason Ribeiro.
She is survived by: her sons, Rui Paul Lopes (Karen) and George P. Lopes (Neelab Hussaini); her grandchildren, Brandon Lopes (Rhiannon) and Lauren Lopes (Garrett D'Amato); her brothers, Herminio Pinto (Lucinda) and Alexandre Pinto (Cecilia); and her godchildren, Maria Pinto Goncalves and Alvaro Albuquerque. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home (419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Family Church (700 Old Stratfield Rd, Fairfield, CT 06825). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Michael Cemetery (2205 Stratford Ave, Stratford, CT 06615).
