Margaret M. Galbicsek Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2025, at the age of 99, Margaret M. Galbicsek of Fairfield, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Margaret may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Margaret touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Bain and Mathilda Voight Bain; her husband Elmer; and her children, Robert, Elaine Waiksnis, Sandra Alterio (Eugene) and Thomas Galbicsek (Nora).
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Joan Galbicsek; and her pet Dasher. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Spear Miller Funeral Home (39 S Benson Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church (1719 Post Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors.
