He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Stauss (Savino) and John Stauss; and his sister Joan Fortuna. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Stauss (D'Amico); his children, John Stauss (JoAnne) of Fairfield and Michele Sibley (William) of Ridgefield; and his grandsons, William Sibley (Liam), Mason Sibley and Johnny Stauss. He is also survived by his brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home (50 Reef Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church (1719 Post Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824).
