Joan Homa Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Homa of Fairfield, Connecticut, born in New York, New York, who passed away on October 10, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Conlin and Elizabeth Hartley Conlin. She is survived by: her husband Jim Homa; her sister Margaret; her children, Elizabeth Sweeney Mingey of Shelton, CT, Mathew Sweeney of Fairfield, CT and Karen Sweeney Toms of Vero Beach, FL; her children-in-law, Timothy Mingey, Jaeca Sweeney and Michael Toms; her grandchildren, Kevin Allen, James Allen, Katie Allen, Sam Sweeney, Lucy Sweeney, Jake Sweeney, Jameson Sweeney, Cameron Toms and Rylee Toms; her great grandchildren, Dev, River and Ava; her brother Chris Conlin; and her friends, MaryEllen Reinhardt and Yolanta Szaewacki. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fairfield Historical Society.
