With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan E. Franchini (Fairfield, Connecticut), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Joan leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shostik and Elizabeth Snyder Shostik; and her sister Margo Poole. She is survived by: her husband John Franchini; her sons, John (Nicole) and Robert (Stephanie); her brother John Shostik (Kathy); her brother-in-law William Poole; and her grandchildren, Nicolas of Christopher, RJ and Lucy. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Greenfield Hill Congregational Church (1045 Old Academy Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824).
