Janet Ruth Costa Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Ruth Costa (Fairfield, Connecticut), born in Canandaigua, New York, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Ralph Douglas Costa (Alda) of Stoughton, MA; her sister Lola H. Lashway (Gary) of Columbia, SC.; and her parents, Ralph J. Hassler and Beatrice May Hassler (McMillan). She is survived by: her husband John; her son John Bradley (Annluise "Mimi"); her grandchildren, Molly, James and Anna of Sanford, FL; her daughter-in-law Alda Maria; her grandchildren, Joseph, Serena, Gabriella and Marco Costa of Stoughton, MA.; her brother William Hassler (Elaine) of Palmyra, NY; and her brother-in-law Gary Lashway of Columbia, SC. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, Janet suggested donations be made in her name to All Soul's Catholic School in Sanford, FL or to Saint John School in Canton, MA.
