Gail Frances McCarthy Fennell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Frances McCarthy Fennell of Fairfield, Connecticut, born in Yonkers, New York, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence "Larry" Fennell; and her parents, Frances Alberta Wilmot McCarthy and Vincent Timothy McCarthy. She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Lyons (Tom); her granddaughters, Kailey and Keara Lyons; her stepdaughter Jennifer Fennell DeLucia (Merlin Muth); her siblings, Dennis McCarthy (Debbie) and Diane Rutledge (John); her nephew Taryn McCarthy; and her nieces, Kerry McCarthy (Shaikh Rasool), Riley McCarthy (Will Hopkins), Courtney Rutledge and Megan Rutledge. She is also survived by cousins and many dear friends.

A Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church (1719 Post Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824).
