She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Saddic Saffo and Thomas Gaeton Saffo; her brother Thomas Theodore Saffo; her former husband Robert H. Thompson; her children, Robert Thompson (Bobby) and Daria Thompson; and her son-in-law Glenn Ramos.
She is survived by: her children, Donna (Michael Tierney), Paula Ramos (Gregory Cowling), Pamela Taylor (Robert) and Bryan Thompson (Virginia); her friend Colleen Fries; her stepgrandchildren, Rhys and Aidan Cowling; and her great grandchildren, Reid, Gavin, Brooks Tierney, Harlan and Trey Gau.
Fran's greatest contribution to her community was through her civic work at the Fairfield YMCA.
