He is survived by: his wife Adeline Hernandez-Rivera; his children, Diana Franco (Angel), Linda Rivera, Edwin Rivera Jr. (Luz), Richard Rivera (Carmen) and Marta Rivera; his grandchildren, Madison, Gavin, Leila, Edwin, Ramon, Cynthia, Nyasia, Jacob and Mason; his great grandchildren, Novie, Sebastian and Orion; and his brothers, David and Jacob Rivera.
