He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Lupariello Massaro; his parents, Anthony Massaro and Antoinette Lettieri Massaro; his daughter Christa Massaro Landini; his daughter-in-law Maral Kehkejian Massaro; and his siblings, Jerry Massaro, Caroline Santacroce, Angie Keane and Ann Spinelli.
He is survived by: his children, Carl Massaro Jr. (Barbara Brazzel-Massaro) of Trumbull, Carla Massaro (Jodi Schaschl) of Fairfield, Craig Massaro (Lisa) of Fairfield, Christopher Massaro Sr. (Kimberly Murphy) of Monroe and Cal Massaro (Christine) of Fairfield; his son-in-law Larry Landini; his grandchildren, Gina Jakober (Erich), Joseph Landini (Jessica), Carissa Massaro-Edwards (Richie), Caci Flom (Elliott), Brandon (Lindsey), Nicolette, Sara, Olivia, Christopher Jr., Daniel and Matthew; and his great grandchildren, Nathan, Justin, Angelo, Christian and Nina. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
