In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Agnes had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Agnes may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parent Armin Katz. She is survived by: her husband Michael Vertes; her son Roger Vertes (Rina); her grandchildren, Marissa Persky (David) and Joshua Vertes; her daughter Vivian Rockmacher (Warren); and her grandchildren, Talia Rockmacher, David Rockmacher, Zachary Rockmacher and Sara Rockmacher Fergason (Elijah).
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home (88 Beach Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Temple Israel Cemetery (225 Richards Ave, Norwalk, CT 06850). A shiva was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sharbin Residence.
