She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxwell Stoddard Porter and Rachel Parker Porter; her husband Charles G. Arnold of Middlebury, CT; and her brother Eliot Hale Porter. She is survived by: her children, Willard B. (Karen Soper), Jared P. (Laurel Soper), John Maxwell (Berkley Soper) and Martha P Soper (Tom Wilson); and her stepsons, Jonathan Arnold of Ashville, NC and David Arnold of Dorset, VT.. She is also survived by step grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, a niece and two grand nieces.
