It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Lathrop McSpadden of Essex, Connecticut, who passed away on July 26, 2022, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Ruth Ann and Jack McSpadden; her siblings, Margaret McSpadden (Todd Ostrow) and Charlie McSpadden; her grandmother Beverly Spooner; and her pet Toby (Tom Taylor).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Essex Land Trust (P.O. Box 373, Essex, CT 06426) or to the Art Department at Vanderbilt University.
