With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Shermer Jr. of Enfield, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on July 12, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Winifred A. Spring Shermer; his father K. Walter, Sr. Shermer; and his brother William. He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Rosborg and Thomas Shermer of Hartford; and his children, Walter, III of Berlin, David of Enfield, Paul of Chicopee, MA, Michael (Kelly) of Enfield and Kristen of Enfield. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
