It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta Dombroski of Enfield, Connecticut, born in Chatham, New York, who passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Hazard Perry Cleland, Jr. of Chatham, NY and Mildred C. Gorman; her stepfather Andrew J. Gorman of East Hartford; her husband James L. Dombroski; and her close friend Charlie Slater of Chicopee, MA..

She is survived by: her children, James L. Dombroski, Jr. (Vicheth Im) of Waterford and Deborah Robidoux (Joseph) of Somers; her grandchildren, Andrew Dombroski (Bridget) of Springfield, MA, Joshua Dombroski (Ashley) of Kenosha, WI, Jenna Dombroski of Palmer, MA, Jason Robidoux and Serena Robidoux of Somers; and her daughter Dejohanna Brown. She is also survived by caregiver, as well as nieces, nephews and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Enfield Congregational Church.

“Roberta was my beautiful maid of honor. She was a source of sweetness and a very honorable gal. When she married Dear Jimmy we were all so happy to see two soul mates bond together for life. We spent many days as teenagers going to the beach and hanging out together. She was the most loyal friend a person could have. I used to call her "swivel hips" because of her pinup girl lovely shape. She will remain forever in my heart. Someone so special will not be forgotten.”
