It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Kennan of Enfield, Connecticut, born in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 16, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kennan and Judith Kennan (Allen); his brothers, William, Ronald and Eric; and his father-in-law John McKinstry.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kennan (McKinstry); his children, Audrey Dumais (Jean-Paul) of Enfield, Jason Kennan (Amanda) of Vernon and Brendan Kennan (Sheila Eatmon) of Somers; his grandchildren, Marissa, Nathan Dumais, Paige, Donovan, Brodie Kennan, Byran and Braden Kennan; his siblings, Robert Kennan Jr. of Bristol and Heidi Rydzewski (Matt) of Tisbury, MA; his mother-in-law Catherine McKinstry; his brothers-in-law, John McKinstry (Kathy), Raymond McKinstry (Ann Marie), Terrence McKinstry (Gail), Alan McKinstry (AnneMarie) and Daniel McKinstry (Monique); his aunts and uncles, Robert, Maria Allen, Joyce Allen and Erland Kennan; and also Stacy McCaffrey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
