Richard E. Fournier Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard E. Fournier Sr. of Enfield, Connecticut, who passed away on March 4, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Aime Fournier and Cecile Fournier (Bernier); his sister Jeannette Campbell (Bob); his niece Gail Campbell; his brother-in-law Thomas Simons; and his pet Fritz.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Fournier (Sfreddo); his son Richard E. Fournier, Jr. (Karen); his grandchildren, Ryan (Zoila), Alyssa (Eduardo), Danielle (Mandi) and Paige (Josh); his great grandchild Charlie Fournier; his siblings-in-law, Robert Sfreddo, Brenda Simons and Collette Sfreddo; and his close friend Ray Montagna. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Edward Church (55 High St, Stafford, CT 06076).
