He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Shephard and Dorothy Shephard (Ragsdale); and his sisters, Betty Shephard and Marjorie Wagoner. He is survived by: his wife Gloria M. Shephard (Wojtyna) of Enfield; his daughter Melanie A. Commo (Christopher) of Stafford; his sister Sharon Johnson of Sedalia, MO; and his brothers-in-law, Wesley Wojtyna of Enfield and Frank Wojtyna (Josephine) of East Hartford.
