She was predeceased by: her parents, William Carey and Jean Carey (Hayes). She is survived by: her significant other Ira Anopolsky of Enfield, CT.; her siblings, Brenda Reilly (Sean) of Westfield, NJ, Peter Carey (Cris) of West Hartford, CT and Daniel Carey (Laura) of Garden City, NY; and her nieces and nephews, Caitlin, Megan, Caroline, Patrick and Joseph.

Donations in Patti's memory can be made to the Connecticut Humane Society.
