She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony F. Diorio; her parents, Clarence V. Bancroft and Marguerite A. Bancroft (Moffatt); and her siblings, John, James, Carl Bancroft, Jean McCracken and Sheila Howard.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Fortin (Richard) of Rome, NY, Linda Ekert (Peter) of New Providence, NJ, John Diorio (Monica) of Papillion, NE and Paul Diorio of Enfield, CT.; and her grandchildren, Sheila Radley (David), Daniel Fortin (Lauren), Amelia Ekert (Marcus Mahoney), Andrew Diorio (Amanda), Laura Ruegg (Jordan), Ellen Diorio (Nicholas Krumrey), Celeste Douglas (Bradley), Leah Diorio (Chaz Ratcliff) and Natalie Diorio. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels (61 S Rd, Enfield, CT 06082). A procession was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Leete-Stevens Family Funeral Homes and Crematory (61 S Rd, Enfield, CT 06082). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bernard Church (426 Hazard Ave, Enfield, CT 06082). A burial was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard Cemetery (59 Park St, Enfield, CT 06082).
