He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Hayward and Edna Hayward (Vienneau). He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean; his son Clayton Russell Hayward of Enfield; and his siblings, Stephen Hayward (Sandra) of Enfield, Janice Hurley (Wayne) of Enfield, Donald Hayward (Laura) of Enfield, Joyce Totten (Peter) of East Windsor and Douglas Hayward (Lora) of Palmer, MA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
