It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen M. Piemonte of Enfield, Connecticut, who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James O'Keefe and Margaret O'Keefe (Felton); her former husband Joseph Piemonte; and her siblings, Michael, Terry O'Keefe (Rena) and Sheila Brooks.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph "Todd" Piemonte (Christine) of East Longmeadow, Derrick J. Piemonte (Michelle Berube) of Springfield, Drew E. Piemonte (Tara) of Springfield and Bryce J. Piemonte of Springfield; her boyfriend Dave Reed of Enfield, CT.; her sisters, Maureen Card (Jim) of Maryland and Pat Blackwood of Wales; her close friend Monique Levesque of Enfield, CT.; and her grandchildren, Brennan Piemonte (Taylor Pendorf) of Warwick, R. I., Collin Piemonte of Springfield, Joseph Piemonte (Colin Loiselle) of Boston, Carley Piemonte (Tony Figueroa) of Westerly, R. I., Gianna Piemonte of East Longmeadow and Garrett Piemonte of Springfield. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center (1858 Allen St, Springfield, MA 01118). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 9:30 AM and at 11:00 AM.
