With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francesco Gennusa of Enfield, Connecticut, who passed away on January 5, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Francesco leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Teodoro Gennusa and Rosalia Gennusa (Lucia); and his wife Annina. He is survived by: his children, Rosalie Fusco (Daniel) of Cheshire and Theodore Gennusa of Enfield; his brother Bernardo Gennusa (Nela) of Sicily; his grandchildren, Richard (Dana), Sarah "Flo", Frank and Mark; and his great grandchild Noah.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels (61 S Rd, Enfield, CT 06082). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Church (64 Pearl St, Enfield, CT 06082). A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick King Street Cemetery (1558 King St, Enfield, CT 06082).
