It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Flora Mae Gates of Enfield, Connecticut, who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Flora Mae Gates to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Albano and Mae Albano; and her brother Albert. She is survived by: her husband George Gates (Sonny); her children, Michael Gates (Cindy), Susan Glass (Don) and Karl Gates (Cathy); her grandchildren, Cassie, Karl, Donnie, Karen, Aric and Ryon; her great grandchildren, Decovin, Teddy, Enzo, Charlotte and Violet; her brother Jack Albano (Cheryl); and her sisters-in-law, Cindy Albano and Beth Albano. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels (61 S Rd, Enfield, CT 06082).
