It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene R. McDonald (Enfield, Connecticut), who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Hurrell McDonald; his son James Andrew McDonald; his parents, Andrew McDonald and Concorde McDonald (Gamache); his siblings, Andrew Jr., Roger, Norman McDonald (Joe), Loretta, Eva McDonald Pasterczyk and Doris McDonald Coope; his parents-in-law, James and Jane Hurrell (McMeikan); and his siblings-in-law, Patsy McDonald, Jeanne Hurrell Fulton, Frederick Pasterczyk and James Coope.
He is survived by: his children, Christine Reopel (Jeffrey Mesite), Heather (Bob Palardy) and Sean McDonald (Micaela McDonald) of Longmeadow, MA.; his grandchildren, Zachary Mesite, Tyler Reopel, Brittny Zace (Brett LaFountain), Bailee Mesite, Samantha Zace (Ashton Mikan), Lindsey Reopel, Grace McDonald, Nora McDonald and Adalyn McDonald; and his brother-in-law Archibald Fulton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
