It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth McCabe of Enfield, Connecticut, who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elizabeth McCabe to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Hayes and Mary Hayes (Herlihey); her husband James M. McCabe; and her daughter-in-law Tina McCabe. She is survived by: her sons, James T. McCabe (Sandra Hintz) of Enfield, Edward H. McCabe (Donna) of Florida, Kevin M. McCabe (Edna Roman) of Enfield and Colin P. McCabe of Willington; her grandchildren, Domenic McCabe, Kaleigh Myren (Kevin), Hunter McCabe, Riley McCabe, Cassidy McCabe, Kaleb McCabe, Dylan McCabe, Meral Hermanowski (Mike) and Devon McCabe; and her great grandchild Myla Hermanowski.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels (61 S Rd, Enfield, CT 06082). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Church (23 Simon Rd, Enfield, CT 06082). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick King Street Cemetery (1558 King St, Enfield, CT 06082).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Elizabeth's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Disabled American Veterans.
