He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Graves and Leona Lane (Edward Lane); his son Douglas "D. J." Graves, Jr.; his sisters, Carole LeClerc (Bert) and Donna Sayre (Donald); and his brother-in-law Don Novotney.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Graves (Robinson); his children, Christopher Graves and Stacy Graves; his daughter-in-law Kristyn; his grandchildren, Deion, Trinity (Thomas Burns), Kyle, Camren, Mackenzie, Jordan, Riley and Deagan; his great grandchild Thomas James Burns; his siblings, Arnold, Walter Graves (Donna), Dana Lane, Barbara Novotney, Cynthia Andrews and Sally Lane; and also, Patty, Ken Buchanan, Larry, Judy Robinson, Kenny and Debbie Robinson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels (61 S Rd, Enfield, CT 06082).
