She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cushing and Rose Elsie Cushing; her significant other Arthur "Art" Anderson; and her siblings-in-law, Priscilla Marie Wells (Anderson) of Windsor, Robin Dahlmanns (Anderson) of Simsbury, CT, Linda Anderson (Chasse) of Windsor, CT and John Meade Anderson of Dunnelion.

She is survived by: her children, Holly Michelle Nation of Enfield, CT and David Lee Anderson of Enfield, CT; her granddaughter Sydney Anderson; her siblings-in-law, Leah Anderson of Granby, CT and Gary Anderson of Windsor, CT; her cousin Pam Wolak of New Britain, CT.; and also Elizabeth Anderton of Somers, CT. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nephews and niece.
